Dym: Smurodzina
Lichtenhainer with Black Currant
Once again we turn our attention to the old German style of Liechtenheiner. This beer has a very interesting and contrasting profile: it is both sour and smoky. To further enhance the smoky flavours, we used peat-dried malt and blackcurrants to accentuate the sourness. These berries are very often used in different types of beer, and for a good reason: they have a rich purple color and they smell fantastic. And that’s just perfect combination for our Dym (“Smoke”) – just like aromas of an autumn forest in your glass.
