Imhla: Jarrylo
New England IPA
The Jarrylo hops strike us with their name first – pretty rare for a hop to be named after an Eastern European pagan god (The ADHA organization, who developed this hop, also take responsibility for the other ones, named after gods – Azacca and Pekko). And this one is special for our New England IPA. Loaded with alpha acids and myrcenes, we get the notes of banana split, pear cider, freshly squeezed orange juice, and some pie spices. Juicy and slightly astringent, like a good German white wine, it just gets better with every sip you make. All hail pagan gods!
