Smoked Sauna Beer with Birch and Maple Brooms
Once a year we brew a special beer for fans of sauna. It is usually brewed with sauna brooms that we add at the end of the boil, so all the characteristic smell of dried leaves goes straight into your glass. For this year’s brew we used birch and maple brooms. These aromas go beautifully with the peated malt, so that it tastes just like a black bathouse. So, the beer’s straw-golden, super easy-drinking, and ready to accompany you those wonderful sauna ceremonies.
