When we hear the term neomexicanus, our hearts start pumping the blood faster: the profile of the native American wild hops is by far our favourite. Medusa is generally the first of its kind to be commercialized. It is 100% neomexicanus, and its name is related to its appearance: the multi-headed hop cones are unlike others and resemble that bewitching creature from the Greek mythology. Medusa contains a small amount of alpha acids responsible for bittering, but it has a lot of myrcene, which gives the beer a bright tropical profile. Our new Pavaloka smells of guava, watermelon, coconut, apricot, and it’s definitely the most exotic juice you’ve ever tasted. No fruit was harmed in the production of this beer!
