Is there such a thing as a perfect bar beer? Probably, each country has its own personal answer to this question. But today we decided to address the culture where the beer pub is an integral part of life. It’s definitely England, with the king of local pubs – Extra Special Bitter. Our bitter is brewed with continental pale malt, a sprinkling of specialty malts, including our own house-made biscuit malt to add a nice sense of identity to this overseas specialty. The quintessentially British hops Fuggle and East Kent Goldings bring out the sweet aromas of morning wheat toast with orange jam, the smell of wet soil in a hazelnut thicket and add a subtle aroma of spring flowers along with a light and balanced bitterness to our amber English ale. Cheers!
