The further we move in time, the harder it is to find something new, especially in the beer world, where everything is still ruled by tradition. That’s why every new hop variety, every new yeast strain and, of course, every new style gets our attention. And we just couldn’t pass by a brew like Cold IPA. The style, which emerged in 2018 in the US state of Oregon from the efforts of Wayfinder Brewery, can be described as an even more refreshing, crisp, clean West Coast IPA, almost like a lager. And no wonder, because unlike classic IPA, Cold IPA is fermented with the help of lager yeast, which works at much lower, lager temperatures. Our new line of cold IPAs is called Sciuža (“Cold”), and in the first brew we use the king of the hop world – Mosaic. Nicely crisp, with soft aromas of lemon radler and hops growing along a cold spring, this strain will transport you to the best summer memories!
