This season, Malanka Brewery’s undisputed favorite is the old (in the scientific sense, not stale, because ours is very fresh) New Zealand hop variety Green Bullet. Unusual even among its southern relatives, Green Bullet infused our light and crisp New England-style pale ale with subtle aromas of sweet pistachio ice cream and damp, freshly cut grass. Hazy, refreshing, and oh-so-desirable, Pavietra fills the air with summer and heat of endless days.
