Fresco: Limetta E Sale

Our new take on deconstructed Italian-style pilsner from the Fresco series is a true fusion of many sources of inspiration. From our friends at Jungle Brewery and their incredible lime pilsner, to salty lagers from the Sicilian coast, to New Zealand dry-hopped pilsners with local hops, to Mexican lagers with a slice of lime in a sweaty bottle, and of course, our first one in the series, with basil and salt. This time, we conditioned our classic bitter pilsner on fresh lime zest, then dry-hopped it with a gentle amount of New Zealand Motueka, which further enhanced the lime flavors. A pinch of sea salt, a reliable lager yeast strain, and long lagering did the rest. Italian in essence, but inspired by a whole world of unusual refreshing drinks, created to beat the heat and thirst in style. Saluti!
