Our new Double IPA Lichamanka is an attempt to get closer to the limits of using hops with ultra-high content of alpha acids (up to 20%), responsible for the bitterness in beer. Pahto is a rather rare member of the American hop breeding, named after the Adams stratovolcano, which is called Pahto in the native languages and feeds the fertile soils of the Yakima Valley, where most of the US hops are grown. The pure and clean bitterness of our IPA together with the wonderful aromas of unusual meadow flowers and fresh pine needles brew the feeling of a real journey on a warm spring afternoon through mountain streams and dense pine forest, up to the highest point on the horizon.
