On the eve of the last Minsk Craft Berr Fest, our friends from Moscow, closely connected with Minsk, the almighty wanderers Bottle Share Brewery, came to visit us. The meeting was planned not only for tasting various beers, but, of course, for brewing something special. The result of this collaboration came out as crazy az possible – sour ale with Karelian and Yakut reindeer moss. This moss is a delicacy not only for reindeer, but also for people: it is often used in cooking in different countries. It has a berry-mushroom umami-taste, high nutritional value and bactericidal effect. The Untappd moderator, organizer of the violent bottle-sharings in the Share House bar and passionate collector of moss Pavel Logvinov brought it to our alchemiсal feast. To completely drive you crazy, we fermented the beer with baker’s yeast and acidified it with yogurt. Then half of the beer was sent to the Rioja barrel until next year, and the basic version will premiere in seven Minsk bars, as well as at the Share House bar in Moscow.
