Lichamanka: Palisade
Single Hop Double IPA
Palisade hops are not well known in our latitudes, and are rarely used in single hop IPAs (read never). So, here we go making a single hop douple IPA with Palisade solely. Among its ancestors are the European hops Fuggle and Tettnanger, which have slightly herbaceous and floral profile. But, thanks to American breeding and climate, it bursts with tropical fruit aromas of mango and apricot. The new “Lichamanka” ( “Fever” in Belarusian) is just perfect IPA, very drinkable, with a clear hop character and a long, but smooth bitterness in the aftertaste.
