Noč: Tmavý Ležák
Czech-style Dark Lager
Days are getting shorter now, and colder, longer nights are starting to govern the time. It is in this season that we release a new series of cozy dark Noč lagers. In the first brew of the series, we were inspired by a real mastodon of style – the legendary Czech dark lager from the oldest Prague brewery, U Fleků. Unusual for the style, the malt bill with a lot of caramel and chocolate malts creates a delicate, slightly tart, chocolate-coffee taste, gentle hopping with Czech Saaz adds the necessary balance of bitterness, and the low ABV, barely noticeable sweetness and extended lagering only increase the desire to enjoy the Night, glass by glass.
