Sliozy Helijad: Brandy BA 2022

A collaboration with our friends from Jungle Brewery. Our long-awaited take on a top-fermented imperial Baltic porter. Ancient Greek legend says that daughters’ of the sun god Helios tears turn to amber when they cry, and amber gems are a true gold of the Baltic Sea. This imperial porter was brewed with plethora of dark, roasted and caramel malts, fermented with our ale yeast and then aged for more than a year in a freshly emptied brandy barrel. We get notes of sweet toffee caramel, bright aromas of dried red grapes and Amarone wine, pleasant black-to-amber color and soft carbonation with creamy and chocolaty head of foam. This one is a perfect sipper for an evening at the beach.
