Our killer new IPA is all about the extraordinary Zappa hops. It belongs to the neomexicanus family of American hops and grows in the arid mountain regions of New Mexico. According to the researchers, the neomexicanus species have never been crossed with European hops, which is pretty unique in times of cross-breeding globalization. One of the local varieties from New Mexico is now grown commercially and is named after the famous American musician Frank Zappa. And the hops truly shine in our IPA: characteristic coconut aromas of neomexicanus, upfront peanuts and mint, bright citrus, as well as light pine and spice mix. Trasca’s hardcore malt base creates super smooth frame for this hops to shine!
