Together with our friends from Plague Brew, we are releasing something unusual. The new Dryhva series is our vision of a Baltic porter from the country of swamps, the most secret corners of Paliessie. Excellent dark varieties of malt create a dense base with colours of strong coffee, peated malt adds a pleasant smell of fogs over peatlands, and birch-smoked malt brings light shades of autumn village stoves and burning fires. To balance all this splendor, we sent Dryhva to rest in a freshly emptied oak calvados barrel after a slow and long fermentation, where it dried a little bit and filled with such pleasant smells of October harvest in the apple orchards. Winter, spring and summer passed, autumn came and brought the moment when our porter reached it’s best state. That’s when we would love to share this little treasure with you.
