Zolak
American Grisette
Grisette is specific and yet not very common style of beer, while its history and production techniques is shrouded in legends. It is believed that Belgian miners were drinking grisette. This style is very close to the saison, though a little lighter – not more than 4% ABV – and always with a considerable addition of wheat.
Unlike classical grisette, in ours we used American Cascade and Mosaic hops, which makes the profile of this quite simple beer more sophisticated and complex. The smell has distinct fruit and berry undertones with hints of gooseberry and currant leaves, while the taste is even more crisp and refreshing.
