Hands down, we cannot ignore the local madness around spicy tomato beers anymore. We have already done several limited test batches for our taproom, and are now launching the Saĺsa series. The first one is going to be the smoked one, because who doesn’t like spicy smoked tomato sauce? Here, we decided to go with two different Tabasco sauces, some chili pepper, a dash of Mexican chili sauce, three (!!) types of paprika — sweet, smoked and hot Hungarian, a pinch of black pepper, garlic, parsley, dill and a natural smoked flavour. There’s some sharpness to the taste, but it is smoothed out by wonderful tomato juiciness. Sounds crazy? It really is crazy, and we like it that way. Hope you like it too.
